That is what it is about

Cynthia Winstone is no ordinary therapist: she can delve into the psyche of her patients and literally see what is bothering them. In the case of young Riley, it's a sinister, extremely hungry monster that threatens to devour her. Despite all her mother's warnings, Cynthia's daughter Jordan is determined to save the girl. This puts her in mortal danger, because the hunger of the creature from the nightmare worlds is not limited to Riley alone ...

What you should know

The darkest place in the world is a person's soul - better bring your flashlights to the screening, because in IT FEEDS true depths are explored. This is no blissful stroll through polished Blumhouse-style teen dream scenarios, instead there's a menacing, adrenaline-fueled urgency from the off. INSIDIOUS for adults: doesn't reinvent the genre, but uses its best elements to great effect. The sound design is pure goosebumps!

Direction

Canadian Chad Archibald is a true genre specialist: He has been making horror films of all kinds since 2005, the most famous of which is probably the nasty body horror BITE. He has also made a name for himself as a producer, for example with the multi-award-winning twist thriller THE OAK ROOM. With IT FEEDS, he proves once again that he knows exactly what it takes: not least a top-notch cast led by Ashley Greene (TWILIGHT saga) and Shawn Ashmore ("Lamplighter" in THE BOYS).
