Luciana Malavasi grew up in Rio de Janeiro, completed training in performing arts and journalism, and studied at the New York Film Academy. Malavasi gained her first experience as an actress in Brazilian TV productions. She now works as a director, notably on CHORO (2022), which won the “Best Film about Women” award at the World Film Carnival in Singapore. Malavasi is also a co-founder of the production company Pulsante Filmes.
