Last year, comic artist Christian Fernández Larrere celebrated his furious debut as artwork designer, succeeding the magnificent Heikes Jörss, who sweetened our festival life with her artwork for ten years. Just like last year, we have to say that this year is no exception: Old Falter, Christian's work is awesome!
The former Regensburg resident, who lives in the Franconian metropolitan region, is well versed in the film industry. He is a director, producer, screenwriter and actor with Chilean roots. Of particular interest to us: Christian is also active as a comic artist. In collaboration with his artist friends, Larrere has published the graphic novel "Trash Days". He is currently working with Juan Vásquez on a comic homage to German Expressionism. "During the Night" will be published in the course of 2025. Christian has already demonstrated his skill for poster motifs with our friends from Weekend of Fear. And we've also been able to admire his work.
Last year, the motif on the printed goods shimmered precious and golden, with a sly-looking Mephisto raising his menacing figure in the east of Regensburg. This year, however, a much coarser fellow is wafting his tentacles over the cathedral city. The many-limbed man opens his mouth and his animalistic rage breaks loose. Slime germinates on the parapet of the Stone Bridge and our beautiful blue Danube finally loses its innocence. An odyssey in Regensburg. Spreading fear and terror... right? Because from April 10 to 13, it's time again for HARD:LINE - extreme cinema in Regensburg.
Thank you, Christian, for your support in our sinister activities! Thanks also to Roger Venegas Rojas, who, in collaboration with Christian, brought us a lot of patience.
