That is what it is about

Dakota and Axel are lovers. But not for long. At least if Dakota has her way. Because she wants to break up. But Axel doesn't know anything about that yet. The problem: what's the best way to say it? When is the right time? As the pressure of suffering increases, Dakota plucks up courage. Alex reacts differently than expected. Not offended, but sick. What begins as a nasty infection completely disfigures Alex's body. He mutates into a monster. And: he doesn't accept the end of love. Will Dakota stand firm?

Alix Austin is a filmmaker living in London. Together with her partner, cinematographer Keir Siewert, Austin runs the production company Switchblade Cinema. After successes with horror shorts such as RETCH and SUCKER, the two Brits are venturing into their first feature film project together with KILL YOUR LOVER. A directing duo? And then a couple? Oh dear! Did they use their own relationship as a template for this body horror? They'll tell us, because they're both visiting us in Regensburg.
