That is what it is about

What do drug dealers and a knitting club have in common? They’re all waiting for their shipment of yarn! The same goes for three elderly ladies who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the mailman, Miguel. There it is: the order of blood-red yarn! In a state of pure knitting ecstasy, they charm the delivery man, who breaks the golden rule: never accept tea from knitting grannies! Beware, for: If you don’t knit the yarn, it will knit you… and then you’re done for!

Diogo Abrantes

Diogo Abrantes has experience as a director, writer, and producer. The Portuguese filmmaker has won awards in several screenwriting and creative competitions, most recently as the 2025 Outstanding Screenplay Winner. His credits include short films such as *LONESOME COWBOY* (2008) and *ECLIPSE EM PORTUGAL* (2014). Together with Joãno Rito, he forms the creative collective “Martians” or “Martians.tv,” which has made a name for itself with humorous productions in the fields of advertising and short film.
