Bäääm: Our closing evening 2024

What is this all about? The whole thing hasn't even started yet and we're already thinking about the end! But believe us: it's absolutely worth taking a look at the final evening. Find out why here.

Whether you're a festival newcomer or an old HARD:LINE hand, whether you're a season ticket breaker or a chance guest, you can all experience it on Sunday, the ultimate highlight of the festival, where all emotions are given free rein without restraint. The final evening! And even if basically everything remains the same, there will be a lot of new things to discover again in 2024. Same same but different is the motto. This much is certain: there is a lot for the eyes and ears. Concert, award ceremony and graduation film are presented to you in a highly attractively laced package. And all this at a really good combination price. That's why we don't want to miss the opportunity to tell you at this point what you can expect on this massively multimedia, beer and bloodroot-soaked evening.

Rocky? Exciting? Melancholic? Funny? Bloody? ... Yes! We do!

THE FINAL EVENING BAND 2024: CONDITION

Supporting programme, closing evening

That's not a state, is it? Nevertheless! STAAT is an up-and-coming Regensburg post-punk band that has existed in its current formation since 2021. The head of the band is Julius Schuster. He writes lyrics and composes. On bass: Sebastian Geissler, known from bands like CONTAINERHEAD and TWO DAYS: WITHOUT SNUFF. Keyboard and percussion are provided by a face that has become an integral part of Regensburg's cultural scene: Luisa Funkenstein ("Nothing to reach", "Wolf"). On drums: Holger Stich (GRAND MASSIVE). The HARD:LINE audience can expect dry, reverb-soaked guitar riffs, melancholic-driving synth melodies and German lyrics full of angry social criticism.

THE 2024 AWARDS CEREMONY

Before we continue with the film, we increase the tension once again. Because after the big party on stage, we dim the room and lie together in each other's arms. Then it's time for the big award ceremony. The gold and silver Razor Blade want to be handed over. And the jury will also reveal what the best European genre film of the festival is and send the winning film to Sitges for the main round of the Méliès D'Or. You can't get more thrilling than that, can you? You can find out all about the films in the competition by clicking below:

THE CLOSING FILM 2024: ALL YOU NEED IS BLOOD

All You Need Is Blood, Still 2

But wait! Wasn't there something about the graduation film and stuff? Yes, that's right, and here it is! It's supposed to be fun. After all, we have something to celebrate. Together we got through it again. We have seen terrible and terribly good things, we have rejoiced and disgusted, we have explored our limits and rediscovered ourselves. We just know what you need: ALL YOU NEED IS BLOOD. This is good-humoured genre fare that sweetens the evening for all of us and leaves us elated from the cinema hall. If you don't leave with a big grin on your face, you can't be saved!
