"After the cinema is before the party" – Our after-show parties 2024

If you're still out of breath after the festival program, you can give free rein to your partying frenzy in our after-show parties. "Can I kick it?" – "YES, YOU CAN!"

Last year, HARD:LINE had to drive with the handbrake on. Inevitably, because our film festival fell on Easter. Good Friday in particular was a problem for us, because it is – like Jesus – quite high up in Bavaria. As a result, there was no party on Friday, as well as a ban on dancing. It was allowed to sit together to music at room volume. But a debauched celebration looks different.

In 2024, this handbrake will be removed. No Catholic holiday will spoil our party mood. Both Friday and Saturday, our after-show parties take place directly behind the screen in the pub belonging to the cinema. Ghouls & Girls gather! It's all on tap, according to the motto: "Celebrate loudly, celebrate fairly & celebrate hard! Take a look at what will be on offer!

Friday, April 12, 2024: "Mr. Mojo & Sunday Girl"

After the movie is before the party! That's why we're heading to the Kinokneipe on Friday evening, where the two local heroes Mr. Mojo and Sunday Girl will be massaging your eardrums. The music will be varied. A spicy party potpourri of indie, riot grrrls and mambo jambo will be served up. From electric guitar to electro. From shoegaze to garage. From Erkin Koray to Sonic Youth. Be part of this acoustic exorcism and shake your limbs like Regan after the holy water attack!

Saturday, April 13, 2024: "Moxy & Pacult"

A tradition is broken. So far, the Sublime Party has traditionally taken place on Saturday evening in the cinema pub. An event with indie music to dream and swear. Unfortunately, the regional series of events has ceased operations. What a pity! Nevertheless, "Moxy & Pacult", two DJs from the sphere of influence of the Sublime, do not want to miss it and make the turntables glow to artificial fog and black light. On the earcups there is post-punk, new wave and eerily beautiful curiosities.
