That is what it is about

Life is wonderful: beer, pool, horror films. Joe doesn't really have to worry. But on the sunny side of life it is also terribly boring. Visits to haunted houses and Halloween - all nonsense! When Fear, Inc, a company with a shock guarantee, is recommended to him, he studiously ignores the warnings of his friends. After all, one wants to be entertained. Joe grabs the phone and dials... Lights out! The game has already started.

What you should know

Somewhere between Fincher and SAW is a film that manages to thrill fans and non-fans alike. Spiced with a good portion of fun and crazy twists, the comparison to CABIN IN THE WOODS is obvious. But FEAR, INC. is not a copy, but rather an independent metahorror film à la SCREAM. Entertaining, pointed and sometimes quite pithy, so that you can sink into the cinema seat with a broad grin and a slight feeling of unease.

Direction

Time and again we are amazed at what debut directors can achieve. Vincent Masciale's case is no different. Like many others, he had already gained some experience with short films and series. But with his debut, he immediately catapults himself into the first league in the genre. Together with Luke Barnett, he founded his own production company. From now on, Lone Suspects stands for high-quality genre with a humorous undertone. We are curious to see what else is to come.

From now and for all eternity, guests are to be invited to the films at HARD:LINE. The next step in the development of a festival. So we set about inviting the director and screenwriter to the international premiere of FEAR, INC. - because when such a grenade opens the festival, you want to create the right setting. We called... and they came!

Audience Award

Fear, Inc. was voted 2nd place (4.1 points) in the feature-length category by our audience at the HARD:LINE Festival 2016.
