That is what it is about

Life is no fun for Michael. While he's travelling between the pub and the job centre, he meets Lee. The young woman presents herself as courageous and aggressive, yet she is also badly shaken and goes into hiding with Michael. In return, she helps him get a job in a very private nightclub. Behind closed doors, nothing gets out. What comes in, stays in. When a customer is brutally murdered, Michael enters a world of power and death... and an insatiable hunger for flesh!

What you should know

A symphony of light, shadow and dirt. Stylistically confident, Simeon Halligan wanders through the alleys of Manchester and shows us the city as we have not yet seen it. HABITS dark world is a horror film, thriller and neo-noir all at once - a cannibal film that hammers into our brains with a vicious, almost nihilistic force that man is the only true monster. This British homage to Dario Argento should be seen by every fan of hard genre fare.

Our guests at the film screening

Simeon Halligan, Rachel Richardson-Jones

Traditionally, the festival invites to the Directors Spotlight and usually we have succeeded in bringing the artists to Regensburg. We are pleased that Simeon Halligan together with his companion and producer Rachel Richardson-Jones were available for a Q&A after the German premiere of "Habit" to give insights into his work.
