That is what it is about

After eons, a dark and brutal alien warlord is finally freed from the chains of damnation. He craves blood and destruction - the end of the world. But sometimes things just go to shit - even for alien warlords. Turd isn't just that two earthly plagues named Mimi and Luke have their hands on an artefact to which he is bound. The stupid nickname "Psycho Goreman" doesn't make it any easier to compete against the advancing emissaries of half the galaxy either.

What you should know

What an infantile trash storm from the pen of the co-director of THE VOID. Wasn't there something? Yes, Kostanski always has a Lovecraft at the ready and whips it out at the right moment. But this wonderfully convoluted splatter comedy also has a lot to offer beyond Lovecraft. PSYCHO GOREMAN is absolutely senseless, wonderfully stupid, entertaining and therefore the perfect closing film for us. This evening screams for blood, beer and fun! That's what we desperately need!

Direction

As part of Astron-6, Steven Kostanski is a name associated with absurd independent productions from the low-budget sector, always with a certain 80s vibe and a good dose of blood. He made his feature film debut in 2011 with MANBORG. So a scent mark was set. Together with other Astron 6 members, he was also responsible for films like FATHERS DAY and THE VOID. PSYCHO GOREMAN celebrated its world premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival.
