That is what it is about

In an ominous posting on Craigslist, a no less questionable fellow claims to know where the missing Marylyn is. So Marylyn's siblings set out to follow the dubious trail and end up in a national park where nothing but madness and terror reign supreme. Here in the woods, familiar rules no longer apply. Here there is neither friend nor foe, neither this world nor another. Here, nothing is as it should be... not even reality.

What you should know

The heart of an independent film is its creativity. It pumps the ideas into the plot and thus brings it to life. The pulse of this film races and creates multidimensional monsters within. You don't understand a word? Yep - that's right! THE AXIOM is an extremely fresh reminiscence of the Otherworld narratives of film history, cleverly playing with familiar patterns to emancipate itself from them. Strong, imaginative and quite spooky! Independent cinema, the way we love it!

Direction

A feature film debut entirely to our taste. Nicholas Woods is not afraid to realise his very own vision and is therefore active on the set as screenwriter, producer, director and also actor for his films. He has been pursuing this intensive work since his first short films, which not only gives him creative freedom on all levels, but also opens the door to what he hopes will be a long-lasting career. Woods is an exciting talent!
