That is what it is about

Somehow it's beautiful, yet bland as a pig. Well, at least there's not too much going on in the Australian outback. You can retire with a few beers and just enjoy the wide open spaces, go for a swim or camp with friends. What could go wrong? All kinds, as it turns out! At least when a giant wild sow defends its territory; or even just tears people to pieces. Whatever the reason... the result is at least a gigantic mess!

What you should know

Anyone who doesn't immediately jump up from their stool and run to the cinema when they hear the word "giant wild sow" should get jittery at the latest when they hear the name Chris Sun. Because the amusing splatter god from down under hits the mud drum with his handmade effects and lets the shreds fly. This crazy creature movie is a crazy and extremely bloody roller coaster ride that never takes itself seriously and above all wants to entertain. Congratulations Mister Sun, mission accomplished!

Direction

Chris Sun has long been a household name in fan circles. He has been responsible for nasty horror films of the coarser variety. His second film DADDYS LITTLE GIRL was extremely controversial and established him internationally. With CHARLIES FARM he celebrated another resounding success. His fourth film now is just starting its festival tour with its titular giant wild sow. Sun lives up to his reputation as someone who prefers to direct handmade effects!
