The new job would be much more family-friendly! For Karen, however, there is no alternative. After all, she knows that the little one is taken care of at home. And she does it for both of them. So she has the factory shown to her, the doors, the aisles, simply everything, in order to have a good night shift. Everything goes smoothly, but the van in the otherwise empty parking lot irritates her. That this job has its pitfalls was clear, but that she suddenly has to fight for her life was not in the description.
Sometimes no-frills genre cinema is just what you need. A film that doesn't linger and does exactly what it does... and does it well. HUNT HER, KILL HER is just such a film. Carried by a terrific Natalie Terrazzino, this festival hit bathes itself in suspense. The result is a bloody game of cat and mouse, without unpacking the big gore club and thus directs the focus on what it does best: Maximum entertainment value in a breathless chase. That's the way to do it!
