That is what it is about

After an accident on the Infini mining station, a specialised rescue team is sent to search for survivors on the distant planet. With the help of slipstream technology, people can be teleported there in seconds. The team is warned, because the last rescue attempt already ended fatally for almost everyone involved. But as they take their first steps inside the station, it quickly becomes clear that no one could have prepared them for this - Infini is hell!

What you should know

The science fiction genre had produced truly outstanding films at the interface with horror films. From ALIEN to EVENT HORIZON and THE THING, it was above all the atmospheric density that led the viewer into a dark and cruel world beyond the imaginable. INFINI also moves in these dark realms. But director Shane Abbess always manages to let his film go its own way. INFINI is a sci-fi horror nightmare at its best!

Direction

With his debut feature GABRIEL, Shane Abbess delivered a worldwide surprise success that immediately made him one of the more noteworthy young directors. Schooled in the great sci-fi films of the 80s, Abbess made INFINI, a thrilling sci-fi horror film that reveres its role models and yet never copies them. Especially considering its low budget, INFINI has an almost unbelievable look and feel that catapults the subgenre into today!
