That is what it is about

Lewis presents himself as intelligent, eloquent and extremely attractive this evening. This does not leave Sarah unimpressed, who is at a men's show together with Rachael. Sarah, the shy one of the two, nevertheless takes the reins and allows herself to be abducted by Lewis. Lewis' house is also stylish and the evening takes its course... Until Sarah discovers that she has become the attraction in a perfidious game. She is drawn further and further down into a whirlpool of mistrust, deceit and death.

What you should know

Electrifying, erotic and deeply evil, this thriller comes along, its smoothly polished surface self-indulgently on display. But like its protagonists, the film soon tears down its façade to allow the demons of the human psyche to dance with shameless lust. David Barker's directorial debut is stirringly suspenseful and transgressive cinema in the finest Hitchcock style. But Villeneuve's ENEMY may also have played its part in this wonderfully diabolical film.

Direction

Australia has done it once again and produced a young director who is sure to make a name for himself. With his debut PIMPED, David Barker clearly shows what an extraordinarily talented director he is. However, his signature was already evident in his 2014 Australian Directors Guild award-winning music video NIGHTINGALE FLOOR. We hope Barker stays true to his style in his new project THE SECOND COMING! Attention: danger of addiction!

Our guests at the film screening

Louise Mentor

A film whose script is so strong for the overall cinema experience needs a strong voice in the background. Not yet (officially!) a screenwriter, Lousie Mentor is that strong voice through which the directorial work speaks. It was all the more exciting for us to welcome Louise on stage and listen to her inspiring work.
