That is what it is about

School is a sheer horror for some fifth graders. Twelve-year-old Marty has little love for his classmates either. Teased and booted out, he and his buddy retreat into the dark world of comics and horror films. Big brother's room is a real treasure trove. But what Marty finds in Steve's closet makes his blood run cold and he fears for his life. Steve is a bestial serial killer and a danger to everyone!

What you should know

Very rarely does a film without any budget manage to make a virtue of its need. Just as seldom - whether indie production or mainstream - do films stay in the mind. The "insider tip" of over 40 international festivals discusses the relationship between real and fictional violence and is a coming-of-age drama and horror film at the same time. Far from any convention, Scott Schirmer's first feature is first and foremost an extremely kinky and controversial contribution to coming-of-age.
